Sunday

Sunday is considered the day to rebuild energy reserves. We often sleep late, move slower and schedule few appointments. Recreation or time for regenerating activities are in the foreground. On this day, there is usually room for processing experienced events or leisure activities. Letting the soul dangle, taking a lunch hour or looking over many things to be done often succeeds better on a Sunday than on other days. Awareness is focused more on fulfilling one’s own wants and needs. There are often opportunities for rest and reflection that are consciously used.

The general pace of life is reduced on Sunday. Even working people often find the atmosphere pleasant and less stressful. Dutiful tasks seem to go off in a relaxed manner. At the same time, we seem to take care not to burn ourselves out.

Nevertheless, for singles, for example, this day of the weekend can stand as the most unpleasant day of the entire week. At this time, the feeling of loneliness is often intensified for them. While others use the hours for togetherness or family, they face states of boredom as well as inner emptiness. They perceive excess energy and do not always know what to do with it. Idle time shows up and time just doesn’t seem to want to pass. Therefore, for them this day is sometimes a burden while others long for this state.
